What i just don't understand is why?

Why a nation of privileged educated americans chose this present government?
Is it because in reality the American people are actually just as bad?
Is the new fashion to be a clever sociopath?
Has the nation turned into narcissistic self centered zealots. Evangeliots?
Is this America today? ignorant and in denial! so self righteous to the point of apathy.
Is having your SUV and lait'e more important then the lives of countless human beings?
It seems so!
Because you ignore the lies and deceptions of the Bush administration.
Propaganda is swallowed whole by you the public. And sold to you by 'in the pocket' news agencies.
Talking heads spewing distortions of fact for the Dollar. Your dollar!
The one you wont be saving or helping your children educate themselves with.
No you will be giving it to Bush oil and company. And further strengthening there strangle hold power grab.
Why have americans who were once the proud protector of freedom now allowing its erosion at home?
And at the same time giving these psychos free rain in destroying liberty in the disguise of protecting it abroad.
And why cant you spot a con man when he is selling you a war? And yet you pay for it still! blindly!

You the American people agree with economic slavery for the poor American people and other nations. Im sure you will not have a restless sleep pestered by any empathy or conscience. And thats because you have distracted and anesthetized yourselves with the television and American Idol worship.
These are the reasons the country and world is in the present state. your stupidity is in believing you will never pay the price for all of it. It will never come to your door. You will be ruddily and most likely violently disappointed!
The funny thing is you could have still enjoyed all your same privileges in a good economy and a safer world.
